 6-5-07 Caps off for charity! Today's Weekly Word is all about charity. In fact, the official word of this week is just that: charity. I may have a good laugh at Tokio Hotel and their five crazy members (I count Gustav as two people), but these boys are seriously changing the world. I don't mean with their music or Bill's spasmodic charm, I mean through charity. You may not know this, but the boys of Tokio Hotel have done charity work for Ein Herz Fuer Kinder: A Heart For Children. It is an organization founded in 1978 that helps kids in need all around the world. Their work began to simply keep kids safe on the streets, but now has grown to a much larger scale. They work to aid families in need, disaster victims, children with illnesses, abused children, and so much more. Last year, with  the help of Tokio Hotel, they raised over 9 million euro for their program.This is a very important program and I think we could all help make a difference like Tokio Hotel has. On THDA, we plan to accomplish two things: #1: Make an insane amount of money for this worthy charity. #2: Persuade Tom to take his hat off while doing it. I challenge you, dear reader, to donate money to Ein Herz Fuer Kinder. This is where the humor comes back into the deal. Everyone likes a good laugh. I challenge you Tom (THAT'S RIGHT, I'M CALLING YOU OUT), to take off your flippin' cap once we accumulate enough money to make it worth your while. 
And I don't mean a quick little cap off cap on dance. We demand a lengthly time period in which you wander around wherever you may be SANS CAP. The more money we donate, the more kids we can help! I am going to start off this challenge by donating $10 dollars to the fund, and I think we should aim for $500! So, there, we are 2% there! Now, you can go directly to the website and donate there, but to keep track of our donations I ask you to donate through paypal below. We're very sincere about this program, and we promise that all money donated through this paypal system will go directly to Ein Herz Fuer Kinder. Plus, all fees taken out of the donation by paypal will be matched by the THDA staff (within reason). I will be keeping a weekly tabulation of donations and sending the money off to the charity after we've received a large enough bundle. Please, tell your friends and family about this charity (regardless if they like Tokio Hotel or not) and urge them to donate. Anything from $1 to $100 dollars makes a difference.
